The heart that Jim Gregor had for international ministry, which started with Jim’s trips to eastern Europe, is still vibrant in EYMI today. At our recent Board meeting I heard reports about EYMI ministry in India, Russia, Mexico, as well as from Canadian ministry to First Nations communities. It was truly encouraging to see what God is doing everywhere. In times when we could become discouraged, how wonderful to be reminded that our God continues to touch and change lives. His arm is not shortened that it cannot save.
With the blessings there are also challenges – EYMI needs financial support to continue and expand these great ministries. We need financial help to be able to support those who truly carry the message of creation, salvation by grace, and the Truth of God’s word. This is our privilege, and also our responsibility. Please partner with us and consider a generous donation which will carry the message to many people and places around the world.
Prayer is a priority! At our Board meeting, considerable time is spent in prayer for these various outreaches, and the people who lead them. Financial support is important, but we need your prayer to carry forward with the opportunities God gives us. The “Bible 101” program is so helpful for new Christians, and has become part of our ministry in Saskatchewan and in our First Nations communities. This program is built on God’s Word, and on prayer. Please join us at the Throne of Grace for a touch from the Hand of God into lives and families.
